Nasarawa State governor, Tanko Al-Makura, on Friday announced plans to commence the upgrade of medical and structural facilities at the Maraba Guruku General Hospital in Karu.
The governor made the announcement during a meeting with the hospital management during a working visit to the hospital in Karu local government.
The governor, who also met with some patients at the hospital upon his arrival, assured them of improved and standard medical services in the hospital.
Al-Makura also met with stakeholders at the Karu International Market, which is expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari when it is completed.
