APC presidential primary kicks-off as Buhari arrives Eagle Square

THE presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress has formally kicked off with the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Eagle Square, the venue of the event.

Buhari arrived at 7:41 pm.

Buhari’s convoy was ushered into the arena by the Guards Brigade.

The President, upon disembarking from his vehicle, was received by APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu, members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), and other leaders of the ruling party.




     

     

    Delegates from the various states are already seated at the Eagles Square.

    All the presidential aspirants are equally seated.

    The delegates have been told to seat according to their states. Electoral officials will go round to take a head count in order to confirm the number of delegates that are physically present.

    It is expected that voting will commence soon.
