PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha Buhari, have exercised their franchise at Polling Unit 003, Sarkin Yara ‘A’ in Daura, Katsina State.
The President and his wife had earlier arrived in Daura for the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly election.
Checks on the registration list at the polling unit indicated that the President was number 185 on the list with the VIN number 185 VIN90F5B02C90295694732.
Speaking to newsmen after voting, Buhari noted that the the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) would mitigate the level of electoral malpractice in the country.
“The Permanent Voters Card has made it possible that no person can come and claim more than one vote for himself.”
He, however, urged Nigerians across the country to shun electoral violence during and after the election.
