Senior Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, has said that Nigerians are happy and satisfied with the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that the President will not find it difficult winning another election even if “one is to be held today”.

Shehu said this during a press conference at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday as part of activities to mark Buhari’s second year in office.

He stressed that in spite of “whatever the (opposition) Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other opposition parties might be saying,” the citizens were happy with the progress made so far by the administration because “the president is doing what Nigerians want”.

President Buhari is currently in the UK on his second medical vacation this year.

Special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, and Senior special assistant on media and publicity to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, were present at the Press Conference.
