The All Progressives Congress, APC, on Tuesday challenged the Department of State Security Service, DSS, to make known to Nigerians the outcome of its investigations after the alleged raid by the security service on the facility the party said it uses as a data centre.
In a statement signed by the party spokesperson, Lai Mohammed, it said that the security service should be prepared to tender apologies to Nigerian citizens if the result of its investigations does not create a pointer that would lead to the allegations levied against the APC that it was using the centre in Lagos to duplicate Permanent Voter Cards,mP Cs
“Any further delay in telling Nigerians the outcome of the investigations, after almost 10 days, could mean that the DSS is trying to manufacture evidence to support its faulty intelligence”, the statement said.
In what has been described as quick response, the DSS said it would inform Nigerians and the entire world of its findings, adding that the scale and magnitude of what it has discovered would shock Nigerians and the law would in due time take its course.
The All Progressive Congress, in the meantime, has proceeded to court to seek redress following alleged raid on its office in Lagos.
