Recall that reports broke out last week that some angry soldiers had lost their cool and pulled out of their positions threatening to shoot down any senior officer that stood in their way.

The soldiers also complained of similar ill treatment meted out on them by the army hierarchy.

But the military authorities denied the reports. Army spokesman Sani Usman, posted a picture on his twitter handle, purportedly showing the commander of the brigade with his soldiers.

There have been series of damning reports against the Army authorities and how they treat soldiers who are in the battle front.
