Some of the participants include, Mario Tascón (Spain), Cristina Tardáguila (Brazil), Olivia Sohr (Argentina) and Craig Silverman (US).

The organiser says, “The summit is a space for global interaction where journalists, researchers, academics, fact-checkers, media and government representatives, civil society organisations, professors and students meet annually to debate, present actions, proposals and success stories on the challenges in the fight against disinformation at a global level.”

Journalists, fact-checkers, researchers, students, activists and others can register for this bilingual international event.

The summit is online and free of charge and registration is open. Interested applicants can apply here.
