Documentary Africa seeks applications for short-form content grants

DOCUMENTARY Africa has launched the Shoot Your Short initiative, which provides grants to support short-form documentary content.

Eligible applicants must have completed at least one previous film and commit to completing the short film within a year of receiving the grant.




     

     

    The film must be less than 20 minutes in duration.

    African filmmakers, based in Africa, can apply for grants to produce short documentary films.

    Grants up to US$5,000 will be awarded.

    The deadline for the submission of application is October 2, 2024. Interested applicants can apply here.
