SORTING and counting of votes has started in the Ekiti State governorship election.
The ICIR reports that about 749,065 voters in 2,445 polling units are expected to cast their vote in the election.
The Ekiti governorship election is being contested by 16 candidates.
Accreditation and voting commenced simultaneously around 8:00 am.
