Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, the notorious kidnapper better known as Evans, has filed a suit seeking to compel the Nigeria Police Force to charge him to court or release him.
This was disclosed by Victor Mbidi, a correspondent of Channels television, via his twitter handle on Wednesday.
According to Mbidi, the suit was filed at a Federal High Court in Lagos, and seeks to compel the Police to either charge the suspect to court or release him from custody.

Evans was arrested by the Inspector-General of Police intelligence response team led by Abba Kyari, an assistant commissioner of police.
Police say he will be charged to court after investigations have been concluded.
