FG Declares Wednesday, Thursday Public holidays

The federal government has declared Wednesday, December 25 and Thursday, December26, 2013 as public holidays to commemorate the Christmas and Boxing Day celebration.




     

     

    Also, January 1, 2014 has been declared as public holiday to mark the New Year.

    The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who made the declaration on Friday in Abuja, urged all Christian faithful and

    Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of love, joy, peace and kindness in Christmas to their individual lives.

    He also enjoined all Nigerians to reflect on the giant strides made by the present government in the development of the country.
