The federal government has announced the commencement of the recruitment of 500,000 graduate-teachers in order to reduce unemployment in the country and boost the nation’s education sector.

According to a statement signed by Laolu Akande, media aide to the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, government will launch an online portal for the exercise on Saturday, June 11, while applications will be accepted as from Sat June 12.

President Muhammadu Buhari had formally launched series of social investment programmes which were all captured in the 2016 budget.
