IDA offers getting ‘Getting real’ fellowship

THE International Documentary Association (IDA) is inviting applications for its Getting Real Fellowship.

The program seeks to spotlight emerging and mid-career documentary professionals who have inspired visions that will benefit their communities and the field at large.

The fellowship will take place from September 27, 2022, to September 29, 2022, in Los Angeles, California at IDA’s biennial Getting Real conference.

The fellowship offers an extraordinary opportunity to gather valuable information, encounter challenging ideas and form long-lasting professional relationships.

Filmmakers and documentary professionals are eligible for a fellowship.

Fellows will share meals, attend a celebratory reception and participate in curated one-on-one meetings with industry delegates.

The fellowship covers airfare, lodging and registration.

The deadline for the submission of applications is July 14, 2022. Interested persons can apply here.
