INEC Deploys 21, 947 Personnel For Kogi, Bayelsa Guber Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Wednesday announced that it will deploy 21,947 personnel for the conduct of the Kogi and Bayelsa state governorship elections scheduled for November 21 and December 5, 2015 respectively.




     

     

    The commission in a statement in Abuja said it would deploy 12,120 officers for the Kogi governorship election, while it would send 9,827 officers for the Bayelsa poll .

    INEC also announced that it would commence distribution of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs in Kogi State on Friday and in Bayelsa on Friday  November 13.

    According to INEC, the exercise in Kogi is scheduled for Friday, November 6 to Wednesday November 11, while the PVC distribution exercise for Bayelsa is scheduled for November 13 to 19.

    It added that the distribution of PVCs in both states would commence at 8.00 am daily and end at 4.00 pm at the ward level.
