Investigation grants available for environmental journalism

JOURNALISMFUND.EU is inviting applications for its investigative grants for environmental journalism as part of its Earth Investigations Program.

The program supports and stimulates comparative investigations into local environmental issues and policies between two or more regions or cities.

The grants also offer support for preliminary work in the development of new investigative projects.

The grants can cover working time and expenses such as logistics, travel, insurance, access to legal support, translations, access to technology and data sets, etc.

A total of EUR800,000 will be distributed among all supported investigations.
Journalists and news outlets can apply for grants to investigate environmental affairs related to Europe.

The deadline for the submission of applications is July 27, 2023. Interested applicants can apply here.
