THE governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda, has won in results from all the 17 local government areas of Katsina state that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced so far.
From the 17 LGAs, Dikko, a former Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), polled 413,066 votes, while his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lado Yakubu Danmarke, secured 213,737.
Katsina State has 34 local government areas.
There have, however, been reports from collation officers in the state of issues of over-voting and pockets of violence in most of the LGAs.
Results from the remaining LGAs are being awaited as collation continues.
