Late arrival of election materials delay voting process at Tinubu’s polling unit

AS the Presidential and National Assembly elections commences across Lagos State, findings by The ICIR have shown late arrival of election materials at several polling units including that of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, located around Kafi Street, Ikeja.
As of  8:45 am, vehicles meant to despatch ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the electoral materials were just arriving at the Registration Area Centre at St. Peters Anglican Primary School, Ikeja.
Information from the INEC states that voting process ought to commence by 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
But as of 9:15 am, the PU is still unoccupied by the INEC officials, except for operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who visited briefly, and left after less than two minutes.
“We were excepting INEC but its EFCC officials that appeared. What are they looking for?” a voter queried.
