Osun election: Yusuf Lasun of LP beats APC, PDP to win polling unit

CANDIDATE of the Labour Party Yusuf Lasun has won in his polling unit in the ongoing Osun State governorship election.


     

     

    The former Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives got 177 votes to beat other contestants in Polling Unit 4, Ward 05, Irepodun Local Government Area.

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 119 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 98. A total of 408 voters were accredited in the polling unit.

    Irepodun LGA is under Osun Central Senatorial District of Osun State.

    Collation of results is still ongoing across local governments in the state.
