Outstanding scholars with leadership potentials from around the world who want to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK can still apply for the Chevening Scholarship, under the UK government’s global scholarship programme.
The programme, which was established in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international scheme, is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations.
It provides full or part funding for full-time courses at the postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.
The scholarships are offered for many fields of study, including journalism and media.
Chevening scholars come from more than 150 countries and territories worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and this year the scholarships will support more than 1,500 individuals.
Applicants must have an excellent undergraduate academic track record and two to five years working experience and must also be fluent in English.
Deadline for the application is November 15. Click here to apply.
