Seiyefa appointed as acting DG of DSS

MATHEW Seiyefa, the most senior Director at the Department of State Services (DSS), has been announced the acting DG.




     

     

    Acting President Yemi Osinbajo approved his appointment shortly after the former boss of DSS, Lawal Daura was fired, following the siege on the National Assembly by security operatives acting on his instruction.

    Seiyefa was the Director, Institute of Security Studies, Abuja before his appointment.

    He has also served in different capacities, including the State Director in Osun, Akwa Ibom, and Lagos.

    Seiyefa hails from Bayelsa State.
