Suntai, plane crash survivor, former Taraba governor, dies at 55

 

Danbaba Suntai, former Governor of Taraba State, whose 56th birthday is only two days away, has died.

According to SaharaReporters, his demise was confirmed by Emmanuel Bello, former Commissioner of Information in the state.

Born on June 30, 1961, Suntai survived a helicopter crash at the Yola Airport in Adamawa State in 2012.

He suffered brain injury after the crash and had been undergoing rehabilitation at home after a long medical stay abroad.
