Justice C.H Ahuchogu of the Osisioma Ngwa Division of the Abia State High Court has ordered the Abia State Chief Judge, Justice Theresa Uzoekwe, not to Inaugurate Uche Ogah as the Governor of Abia State pending the determination of the Suit brought by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has said he will appeal the court judgment that ordered his removal from office and directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to cede the certificate of return to his opponent in the Primary Election, Uche Ogah.
The federal high court in Abuja has removed the governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu, from office, citing fake tax returns by the governor during the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship primaries in the state in December 2014.
