Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state has accused former governor of the State, Ali Modu-Sheriff, as well as former President Goodluck Jonathan of not doing enough to nip the Boko Haram insurgency in the bud before it became the monster that has continued to plague the state.
The federal government says it has received intelligence that a Boko Haram affiliate group, called “Muslim Brotherhood” in Kogi State, is plotting to carry out terror attacks in the country.
Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, has called on citizens of the State to rise up in unity in order to fight terrorism which, according to him, wants the people to “live in the permanent slavery of fear.”
