A supervisory councillor with Mafa local government area of Borno State, Umar Ibrahim, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Maiduguri for allegedly diverting 300 bags of rice meant for the Internally Displaced Persons in the area.
Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima has called for the immediate prosecution of suspects arrested for alleged stealing of bags of rice meant for Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in the state.
