The Department of State Services, DSS has said the former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, was in custody for alleged possession of assorted firearms.
Some of the former aides of Gabriel Suswam, immediate past governor of Benue State, indicted by the commission of inquiry set up by Governor Samuel Ortom, have been arrested.
Members of the Benue State House of Assembly engaged in a free-for-all on Tuesday during plenary over an alleged probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, into the purchase of cars for the lawmakers that reportedly gulped 750 million Naira.
