Senate President, Bukola Saraki has denied accusations of misappropriation of money from the Paris Club Refund, saying that the recent report was just another act of mere mudslinging by the acting chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.

Two days after his nomination as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was rejected by the Nigerian Senate, leading anti-corruption organization, Transparency International, has invited Ibrahim Magu as a guest speaker during its 2017 conference in London.
“The Presidency will respond to the non-clearance of Magu as EFCC boss, after it receives official communication in writing from the Senate,” Adesina tweeted.
