Factional Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Malachi Coker, has confirmed that the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered that the assembly complex be sealed indefinitely as a result of the leadership crisis among the state lawmakers.
Thirty senior police officers, who were compulsorily retired in 2016, have dragged President Muhammadu Buhari before the National Industrial Court, Abuja, alleging that their retirement contravened some sections of the constitution.

Ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold in Ondo State on Saturday, November 26, the Nigerian Police Force has beefed up security in the state with the deployment of more than 28,000 police personnel.
