The Nigerian Police, On Monday, at the Police Headquarters in Abuja, Paraded a gang of six kidnappers that were allegedly responsibly for several high profile kidnappings in Kaduna and other States across the country.
The Nigeria Police Force, Bauchi State Command has narrated how some of its personnel in collaboration with a local security outfit called, Danga security, attacked a kidnappers’ hideout at Buzun forest in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The Joint Military Force involved in the operation to clear the Niger Delta of militants, kidnappers and sea pirates, says it has killed five suspected militants and two pirates in different operations within the last three days, while three other suspects were arrested.
The Kano state police command said its efforts to deal with the crimes of kidnapping, armed robbery and banditry in the southern part of the state, has led to the arrested of 11 suspected kidnappers and freeing of 12 victims inside the Falgore forest believed to be the den of kidnappers.
The Nigeria Police Force says it has continued to record successes in the operations to rid the country of dangerous gangs specializing in armed robbery and kidnapping, especially in Kogi State and its environs.
