The organised labour cancelled this year’s celebration of workers’ day in Kogi State, in protest of the non-payment of workers’ salaries and pensions of retirees.
The Minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige, who represented the President at the event was booed off the stage by the workers who were protesting poor remuneration by the federal government.
