The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has nominate nine eligible applicants,including former NBA national chairman, Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, for appointment as Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
A group of protesters are demanding that the judges who were indicted of corruption by the Department of State Security, DSS, should step aside until their innocence have been proven.
The Nigerian Judicial Council, NJC, has said that it would not suspend the judges being investigated by the Department of State Security, DSS, over allegations of corruption.
