The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, denied allegations of corruption made against it by the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, PACAC, Itse Sagay.
Sagay said that the NDDC recently took delivery of 70 vehicles, including 8 Super Lexus Jeeps valued at N78 million each and 10 Land cruisers worth N63 million each
Three of the 19 candidates nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari to be on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, were rejected by the Senate on Tuesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Victor Ndoma-Egba as new chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
A letter to this effect is expected to be read on the floor of the senate on Thursday.
