Kano State tops the list of states in Nigeria where the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, made the most number of arrests for drug related offences in the last four years.
The Kano State Commander of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Hamza Umar, on Thursday said his officers had raided and cleared five major drug joints in the metropolis.
The National Drugs Law and Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Kano state command said it has secured conviction of 299 suspects, both males and females, while a total of 37.851 kg of hard drugs have been recovered from suspects between January and November this year.
