Attempts to include Kano and Plateau States as part of beneficiaries in the proposed North East Development Commission, NEDC, failed at the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.
The Senate has passed a bill to establish the North-East Development Commission, NEDC, which will be saddled with the responsibility of reconstructing the North-East region after years of destruction by the Boko Haram insurgency.
