Humanitarian agencies say the town could be completely rendered inaccessible when the rainy season sets in in earnest.

The United Nations has promised that it will do more for the Internally Displaced Persons in North Eastern Nigeria following the unfortunate accidental airstrike by a Nigerian Air Force Jet fighter that led to the death of over 200 people.

Following the accidental bombing of an Internally Displaced Persons Camp in Rann community in Kala-Balge Local Government Area of Borno State, a total of 234 people who were killed in the incident have been buried.

International medical charity, Medicine Sans Frontier, MSF, commonly known as Doctors without Borders, has said that as many as 170 persons may have been killed as a result of the bombing that took place in an Internally Displaced Persons Camp, in Rann, Borno state.

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has constituted a board of senior officers to investigate the accidental air strike that occurred at an Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, camp in Rann, Borno State.
