Regular electricity supply is a basic right of every Nigerian. This right is however denied residents of some rural communities in the Southwest region as their neighborhoods are currently thriving in darkness. The Federal Government annually makes budgetary allocations for rural electrification project to supply transformers to boost power generation for the people.
