The trial of Sylvester Ngwuta, a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria,resumed on Wednesday, at the federal high court, Abuja, with the first prosecuting witness telling the court how Ngwuta paid him a total of N313 million for the construction of three sets of buildings in different areas in Ebonyi State, including Abakiliki the state’s capital.
Sylvester Ngwuta, a justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, who is currently facing corruption charges, has pleaded with Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, to grant him more time in order to adequately prepare his defence.
