The United Nations has promised that it will do more for the Internally Displaced Persons in North Eastern Nigeria following the unfortunate accidental airstrike by a Nigerian Air Force Jet fighter that led to the death of over 200 people.
To further enhance its civil-military relations, soldiers from 27 Brigade, under 7 Division Nigerian Army in Borno State, have built a temporary school in Bama for internally displaced persons, IDPS.
The United Nations has applauded the improvement in the conditions of internally displaced persons, IDPs, in Bama, Borno State, saying 15,000 people are provided with food by the World Food Programme while a clinic has been opened to provide care for the sick. Also classes have been set up for school children.
The United Nations is not satisfied with the volume of humanitarian assistance given to Internally Displaced Persons at the Bama camp, in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.
