The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism, WSCIJ, has called on journalists across the country to apply for the 2016 edition of its annual best investigative reporter award.
The Nigerian government has been urged to ensure an inclusive, simplified and automated tax regime in the country.
The appeal was made on Wednesday by speakers at the 8th Wole Soyinka Centre Media Lecture Series held in Lagos.
Adebimpe Balogun, first female president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, CITN, and Tunde Fowler, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, are billed to participate in the eighth Wole Soyinka Media Lecture Series that will take place on Wednesday 13 July 2016 by 10am at NECA Building, Agidingbi, Ikeja , Lagos.
