Terrorist Attack In Abuja

There has been a bomb blast at the popular Emab plaza, Wuse 2, in the heart of Abuja.

it was learnt that a suicide bomber drove a car to the gate of the plaza which is popular for selling mobile phones and detonated a bomb.

Scores of lives are believd to have been lost, while many others were injured in the tragedy.

Mostly affected would have been taxi drivers and passengers right at the gate of the plaza, as well as fruit sellers who usually ply their trade there.

Some dead bodies and several burning vehicles were seen at the scene of the attack when our reporter got there.

An eyewitness, also a victim of the blast, who spoke to icirnigeria.org  moments after the attack, said that he went to Emab plaza to purchase a phone and that as he stepped out of his car, the last thing he remembers  was that he found himself on the floor and had to be aided to a safe corner by good Samaritans.
