4 Suicide Bombers Die In Botched Maiduguri Attack

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, on Sunday confirmed the death of four suicide bombers in a botched terror attack few kilometres to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.




     

     

    NEMA’s information officer, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, said the four suspected suicide bombers died in an unsuccessful operation after their vehicle suffered an unexpected explosion.

    Ibrahim said the incident occurred at about 1.20 pm in Njimtilo on Sunday and to that the four suicide bombers came in a Golf car.

    He explained that the car had exploded before they reached their target and that all the four suicide bombers on board died with no civilian casualty recorded.

    According to him, the remains of the bombers were already deposited at Borno State Specialist Hospital mortuary.
