The National Emergency Management Authority, NEMA, has said that five persons were killed and eleven others injured in three separate suicide attacks in Maiduguri on Wednesday.
15-year-old Fatima Mohammed Kabir, confessed to have been married to factional Boko Haram leader, Mamman Nur, while the other girl, 14-year-old Amina Salisu, also admitted being married to two separate Boko Haram fighters in the Sambisa forest.
The UNICEF report shows that the number of children suicide bombers in the Lake Chad basin rose to 27 in the first quarter of 2017, as against 9 over the same period in 2016.
