Buhari Seeks Support Of Nigerians Resident In Niger

Buhari-speaks

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday assured Nigerians that they would not regret trusting him with their mandate, as he would do all he could to repay them.

He also said that his administration would put in place measures to address the numerous challenges facing the country.

Buhari gave this assurance while addressing Nigerians resident in the Republic of Niger during his visit to the country.

He said since Nigerians voted him into power based on the manifesto of his party, he would be guided by it in ensuring a revamp in nation’s critical sectors, particularly the economy.

He, however, asked Nigerians to exercise patience while waiting for the manifestation of their yearnings.
“However, daunting as the task to surmount these challenges may be, they are by no means insurmountable.

our objectives, we must consciously work to improve the democratic system.”

He said his administration’s focus will be on security, economy, corruption and power shortages.
