COLUMBIA University is accepting candidates for the 2025-2026 Obama Foundation Scholars Programme.
Scholars are slated to spend the academic year, August to May, in an immersive programme that brings together academic, skills-based and experiential learning, designed by Columbia University in consultation with the Obama Foundation.
Throughout the year, scholars will have opportunities to engage with thought leaders and practitioners from the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Emerging leaders from around the world who have made meaningful contributions to their field can apply for this programme in New York.
The organiser says that priority will be given to applicants who have not matriculated at Columbia University. The fellowship is a full-time, residential programme at Columbia and cannot be undertaken at the same time as a degree programme.
The programme offers airfare, a monthly stipend, a furnished studio apartment, tuition and fees for up to four courses at Columbia University and medical, dental and life insurance.
The deadline for the submission of application is December 16, 2024. Interested applicants can apply here.
