Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo Stateon Tuesdaycarried out a minor re-shuffling of his cabinet after the state executive council meeting.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Peter Okhiria, confirmed the slight redeployment, which affected six commissioners, while a new commissioner was sworn in.
In the minor cabinet reshuffle, Isimeme Iriogbe was moved from the Ministry of Oil and Gas to the Ministry of Transport, whileSaturdayUwulekhue was transferred to Ministry of Oil and Gas from Ministry of Transport.
Commissioner of Ministry of Arts and Culture, Aanena Jemitola will now take charge of the Ministry of Women Affairs, while Abdul Oroh of Ministry of Agriculture will now supervise the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Macdonald Obasuke was redeployed from Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Arts and Culture, while Washington Osifo previously with Ministry of Higher Education was moved to Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.
Also, Joseph Okojie who was sworn-inon Mondaywill take charge of the Ministry of Agriculture.
