The terrorist group, Islamic State, ISIS, on Sunday executed 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya in its latest onslaught on parts of the world.
The killings which were shown in a 29-minute video which went viral at the weekend described Christians as “crusaders out to kill Muslims.”
Two shots are then shown where 15 men were beheaded on a beach spot and another 15 shot in their heads in a shrub area.
The video which is widely known as al-Furqan Media video and titled “Until There Came to Them Clear Evidence” shows the two groups of men executed adorned in orange and black jumpsuits before being killed at the two different locations in Libya.
A background narrator in the video could be heard distinctly saying the Islamists were out to exact revenge on enemies of the Islamic faith
“All praise be to Allah, the Lord and cherisher of the world and may peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Mohammed. To the nation of the cross, we are back again on the sands, where the companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, have stepped on before, telling you: Muslim blood that was shed under the hands of your religion is not cheap. In fact, their blood is the purest blood because there is a nation behind them (which) inherits revenge. And we swear to Allah: the one who disgraced you by our hands, you will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam,” the narrator says in Arabic.
The narrator goes on to say that those who “perform prayer and pay alms” will have “their blood and property” protected by the Prophet unless Islam dictates otherwise.
“You pay (tax) with willing submission, feeling yourselves subdued. Our battle is a battle between faith and blasphemy, between truth and falsehood, until there is no more polytheism — and obedience becomes Allah’s on its entirety,” the narrator adds.
In the video the speaker also says that Christians in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul had already been given the option to embrace Islam or maintain their Christian faith and pay a tax adding that that a deadline had been fixed for the enforcement of the policy.
Libyan authorities have since confirmed the killing of 30 of its citizens by the ISIS.
It would be recalled that in February, this year, the terrorist organization also released a video of 21 Coptic Christians being executed on a Libyan beach.
The video which was released by al-Hayat Media Center, another ISIS media arm, showed a masked man expressing anger on the killing of Osama bin Laden and his burial at sea.
“The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah, we will mix it with your blood,” he threatened in English.
Also, a suicide bomber on Saturday riding a motorbike blew himself up in front of the Kabul Bank in Jalalabad.
The blast killed at least 33 people and injured more than 100 others, the government spokesman, Najibullah Kamawal said.
The ISIS terrorist group has already claimed responsibility for the attack.
