Kwara: Governor Abdulrazaq nominates 5 new commissioners

GOVERNOR AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded the names of five new commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for approval.

In a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary  Rafiu Ajakaye and made available to newsmen in Ilorin this afternoon, the nominees are former House of Representatives aspirant Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi from Ilorin East, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin from Ifelodun; and Wahab Femi Agbaje from Offa.

    The two other nominees are Gidado Lateef Alakawa from Asa and Ibrahim Akaje from Ilorin West.

    The nominees’ names and profiles have been sent to the House of Assembly for legislative screening and approval.

    Four of the nominees, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin, Wahab Femi Agbaje, Ibrahim Akaje Gidado Lateef Alakawa are former appointees of the state government who resigned their appointment two months ago to contest for different elective offices in the just concluded APC primaries.
    Dr Afeez Abolore is the current SSA Land Matters to the Ogun State governor Dapo Abiodun.
