Osun election: Buhari congratulates Adeleke

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has said the people of Osun expressed “their will” by voting out the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola, in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.

Buhari said this while congratulating Adeleke in a statement released on Sunday.

“I congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on his victory in the Osun gubernatorial election. The people of Osun have expressed their will through the ballot.

    Adeleke emerged winner in the July 16, 2022 gubernatorial election after polling the highest number of votes.
