RESULTS of the 2019 presidential election so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shows that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading with a total of 1, 317,976 votes while the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has a total of 1,173,437 votes.
Collation of results is currently ongoing at the INEC collation centre located at the International Conference Centre in Abuja. Five states have announced their results so far, including Ekiti, Osun, Kwara, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory.
In Ekiti, the APC won with a total of 219,231 votes while the PDP scored 154,032. Similarly, the APC won in Osun State with 347,634 votes against PDP’s 337,377.

In Kwara, the APC led with 308,984 votes while the PDP had 138,184. For Nasarawa, the APC got 289,903 votes while PDP got 283,847 votes.
The PDP has won only in the FCT with 259,997 votes against APC’s 152,224.
With the result announced from the five states, APC has won four states while the PDP won only in FCT.
The collation exercise is currently on a 45-minute break, to reconvene at 5 pm.
