Sacked Governor Wike Appoints 14 Aides, Constitutes New Board

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, whose election was voided two weeks ago, on Sunday approved the appointment of 14 Special Advisers, including Senior Special Assistants on Social Media.
Wike was sacked from office by the Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal on October 24, with new elections ordered in the state. However, the governor has since appealed the tribunal’s judgement.
Appointed senior special assistants on Social Media are Franklyn Oraye and Marshall Obuzor.
The special advisers are Cyril Dum Wite, Nkem Nweribe, Chris Itamunoala, Daisy West, Elems Ogbowu, Okiri Aribitonye, Shedrack Akolokwu, Israel Owate and W. T. Iwor, Anugbum Onuoha, Atuboyebia Obianeme and Isaac Okemiri.
