Governor Ben Ayade, had on April 30 ordered that May salaries of workers be paid on May 1, a development the workers said, though well-intended, does not help them.
A gubernatorial aspirant, Joe Agi, who contested the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primary election in the state in 2015, had asked the court to sack Ayade over false declaration of age but the apex court held on Friday that Agi could not prove the allegation against the governor.
